Jeremy is an associate attorney with The Law Office of Matthew J. Rudy.

After growing up in Syracuse, New York, Jeremy attended Siena College on a Division 1 tennis scholarship. While at Siena, Jeremy demonstrated leadership both on the tennis court as a two-time captain and multiple recipient of conference player of the week and in the classroom as he graduated cum laude with a degree in political science. Between his junior and senior year at Siena, Jeremy was awarded a legal fellowship at American University’s Washington College of Law, working under the direction of Professor Jamin Raskin, a Maryland State Senator. While in Washington D.C., Jeremy gained valuable experience of the tools needed to become a successful litigator.

After graduating from Siena Jeremy moved to California to pursue his dream of becoming an attorney. He relocated to Newport Beach where he attended Whittier Law School on a merit based scholarship. During his time at Whittier Law School, Jeremy served as an extern in two family law offices. While focusing on discovery demands and financial disclosures, Jeremy assisted attorneys in complex financial disputes. While at Whittier, Jeremy was also a senior member of the Whittier Journal of Child and Family Advocacy. In this role, he worked closely with editors to review articles for submission on hot-button family law issues across the country. Jeremy excelled in law school earning top grades in numerous courses as he graduated magna cum laude.

Jeremy has worked for three prominent San Jose based family law firms. In this capacity, he gained valuable experience dealing with child custody and visitation matters, financial disputes, the drafting of pre-marital agreements, child support and temporary and permanent spousal support.

Aside from his practical experiences of working in family law firms, Jeremy also served in the Santa Clara County Judicial Internship Program. In this capacity, Jeremy served under the presiding judge of the family law division in Santa Clara County. This program gave Jeremy valuable experience as he assisted a family court judge with numerous hearings, motions, and short-cause trials on a variety of family law issues. It was from this experience that Jeremy realized his passion for family law.

In his free time, Jeremy enjoys staying active, attending sporting events, and spending time with his family.
